Our Mission

Petcentric is dedicated to providing your pets with a loving and safe experience – quality care so that you can relax with peace of mind.

Petcentric management and sitters believe in being involved and giving back to the community in which they work. Petcentric regularly supports pet events by donating gift certificates for their services, plus many of the sitters donate their time to various animal causes. Since 2002 Petcentric has been a part of an “Adopt a Highway” program that was designed to help keep our state highways clean. Once a month Wendy and her Pet Sitters Extraordinaire can be seen picking up and bagging litter along a two-mile stretch of highway in Santa Barbara.

Our History

Wendy Balleaux Fisher founded Petcentric, formerly Pets Pampered Plus, in Walnut Creek, CA in 1998. She started the company while working for a major airline and after a year of juggling both jobs Wendy took the plunge and devoted herself full time to her growing business. She had loved the hustle and bustle of the airport and enjoyed the daily pursuit of putting a smile on people’s faces, so instead of leaving those aspects of her job behind, she bottled up the positive energy and her customer service experience and poured them into her pet care business.

In 2001 Wendy changed the business name from Pets Pampered Plus to Petcentric, summing up in one word who they are and what they do. As the name implies, Petcentric is centered around pets and Wendy and her sitters are truly CRAZY about pampering pets!
